![]() rravendove aka Leticia has a wonder site up for writers and artists.Silver Thorn Press Link Monterey Bay Aquarium new exhibit LinkGreat news from Jade aka golly19 As for me--I've been very busy helping a couple of friends with their Church's charity fundraiser for a children's hospice. So--not much painting coming from me. But I've been asked to have a work of mine included in an art book regarding Creation and the Garden of Eden. The author wants to have 'Mischief in Paradise' for the book. I have yet to get back to him for additional details. Hopefully, it turns out well and will give an update, if any.
2009 promises to be Gone with the Wind crazy. The movie will mark its seventieth birthday. Sea Gods will be offering beautiful and interest renditions of cast and costumes with a mermaid splash. I am looking foreword to the many enchanting styles of mermaid art featuring Scarlett O' Hara. Youtube clip of movie The hot art of Leticia eBay id rravendove Auction Link
Urge Earthbound Trading Company to Stop Selling Hermit CrabsPart retailer, part pet store, Earthbound Trading Company has reportedly decided to make a profit off the sale of hermit crabs. These fragile creatures are sold amid the store's nonliving items—displayed on a shelf, awaiting sale in their small, barren containers. Hermit crabs are not just souvenirs to be sold indiscriminately to tourists and mall patrons. Unlike the company's inanimate goods, hermit crabs require proper care and attention and a commitment to having their special needs met. Hermit crabs thrive in warm, sandy environments where they can live in colonies of 100 or more—not in cold, isolated tanks devoid of any enrichment. These animals do not reproduce in captivity, so every hermit crab you see in a store has been ripped away from his or her natural environment and family. Help protect these wild animals: Never buy a hermit crab, and inform your friends and family that hermit crabs don't make good pets. Please ask Earthbound Trading Company to stop selling animals as trinkets. Please call, write, or e-mail the company and politely encourage it to stop selling live animals. Please send polite comments to:Suzana Gordon, Owner Earthbound Trading Company 3505 Garden Brook Dr. Dallas, TX 75234-2436 972-248-0228, ext. 5004 972-247-2472 (fax) This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
